Capt. Noa Meir, an Israeli military spokeswoman, said “We don’t target civilians and had we known there were civilians there we would not have fired on that site. We do everything we can to prevent civilians from being killed while Hezbollah operates from these areas because they want civilians to be killed”.

A true color of current US political system…
ei: US vetoes Security Council resolution on violence in Gaza
The United Nations Security Council failed today to adopt a draft resolution calling for the immediate and unconditional release of the Israeli soldier abducted by Palestinian armed groups from Gaza and for a halt to what it called a “disproportionate” military reaction by Israel, due to a veto by the United States, which called the text unbalanced and outdated.

Maybe Bolton referering to this past atrocities also by Israel Army, the most moral army in the world..
Meanwhile, workers.org run report about “Who’s imprisoned in Israeli jails?“.
The extremely difficult situation of approximately 10,000 political prisoners held in a constellation of Zionist prisons is central for understanding the events unfolding in Occupied Palestine and Lebanon.
Most of the prisoners are Palestinian, while a smaller number are Lebanese and Jordanian. They include men, women and children, and also elected officials. Some have been jailed since the 1970s.
Would Bolton propose a resolution to help them? I extremely don’t think it is possible
What an (in)justice world we are living now…
(updated) 4 UN observers have been killed, which Mr.Annan said “apparently deliberate targeting by Israeli Defence Forces”

BBC NEWS | Europe | Dutch will allow paedophile group
Judge HFM Hofhuis ruled that the Brotherly Love, Freedom and Diversity Party (PNVD) had the same right to exist as any other political party.
The PNVD was formed by three paedophiles in May, prompting outrage in Dutch society.
It seeks to lower the age of sexual consent from 16 to 12 and legalise child pornography and sex with animals.
“Freedom of expression…including the freedom to set up a political party can be seen as the basis for a democratic society,” Judge Hofhuis said in the ruling, according to the Associated Press news agency.

BBC NEWS | Technology | Tiny wireless memory chip debuts
A new 2-4mm square chip, developed by the Memory Spot research team at HP, can hold up to 512 kilobytes of data, that can store 100 pages of text and swaps data via wireless.
Data can be moved in and out of the chip at speeds of up to 10 megabits per second – far faster than is possible with other short-range radio systems such as Bluetooth or radio Frequency ID tags.
All the components to make the chip, including modem, antenna, microprocessor and memory, can be fabricated as a single unit helping to keep unit costs low. HP speculated that once in production the devices could cost as little as one dollar each. No battery is needed because devices reading data from the chip will provide power by induction.
