Crime rates in Japan is the lowest in developed world, but if you are in the wrong place at the wrong time, even if you are innocent, there are only a few safeguards for your protections. This was reported by BBC
Updated 071129: My friend was caught by Japanese police in Roppongi and was brought to police station to be arrested and all his fingerprint was taken. The reason for this is because he bring a Victorinox tool in his bag!

Iraq is one of the place who happen to witness a great battle in the history of humanity. The interesting part is, whether Bush’s Desert Storm war, which are still on going until now to stabilize Iraq, is one of that great battle. I doubt it, but Livescience.com’s post include the 2003’s batle as one of them.

An interesting interview with Matt, especially in some part I quote below:
One
“A cracker gained user-level access to one of the servers that powers WordPress.org,” he later explained on his blog. “They modified two files to include code that would allow for remote PHP execution.”
Two
He considers paid links deceptive – and feels strongly about it because of his own experience. “A few years ago an advertiser approached me and said, ‘I want to put these articles on your site,’ and I agreed. It was WordPress.org. That lasted about a month, and became a huge controversy in the blogosphere. I took it out the next day.
Three
The consequence for WordPress is an avalanche of feature requests. Mullenweg advocates a minimalist approach to software quality, and believes that many software products have too many options included to satisfy divergent opinions.
“Lots of software, especially open source software, goes the option route because it makes everyone happy. But it creates terrible software. I think WordPress as it is now has too many options. So in making decisions, I piss people off. Sometimes they take it personally, and that’s a difficult thing. But if we continue to be a successful product and to grow, I feel we’re making the right decisions.
“There are two main methodologies of open source development. There’s the Apache model, which is design by committee – great for things like web servers. Then you have the benevolent dictator model. That’s what Ubuntu is doing, with Mark Shuttleworth. Ubuntu is doing amazing things, and I think it’s going to change the face of the desktop. That’s also WordPress, and ultimately that’s what’s going to work for consumer applications.”

An article already describe 5 points for the reasons why the war in Iran is nearer. The campaign was already begun(TM), in the similar fashion like when Iraq was prepared to be attacked. The different maybe with whom Bush will call his “coalition of the willing”.
Nevertheless, the prelude to war will start when Bush and US Senate still go forward with their intention to include Iran’s Revolutionary Guards as a terrorist organization. A country who harbor a terrorist entity will enter US target for attack. The same logic was used when Bush administration described Saddam Hussein rezim as a partner with Qaeda, which turn to be a false (look at the Valerie Palmer case) and fabricated facts.
Meanwhile, Iran’s parliament already prepare their own attack (or defense?) with an interesting legislation that will designate the CIA and the U.S. Army as terrorist organizations.
Anyway, in AP’s article, ElBaradei commenting as head of IAEA:
“I would hope that everybody would have gotten the lesson after the Iraq situation, where 700,000 innocent civilians have lost their lives on the suspicion that a country has nuclear weapons,” he said recently, alluding to a key U.S. argument for invading Iraq in 2003 — that Saddam Hussein had weapons of mass destruction, including nuclear arms. Four years later, no such weapons have been found.
And this is the response:
In a stinging rebuke, Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice said the IAEA “is not in the business of diplomacy” but a “technical agency” that should stick to inspections and report on infringements.
Let’s pray that there will be no war…

An Interesting quote from AP’s article: “Does a nation of 303 million people really have only two families qualified to run the show?“
Facts:
- If Hillary Clinton were to be elected and re-elected, US could go 36 years straight with a Bush or Clinton in the White House;
- 116 million Americans or 40%, lives with Bush or Clinton in the White House;
