Search result based or friend recommendation based in video watching

If you look at this analysis of Brightcove report, video watched because of someone giving you link to watch is gaining momentum.
What do they mean?
Since around 10 years ago, information was accessed mainly because you found the information from a search engine, thus bringing a new era of freedom of information because nobody can force you to accept information. Anybody can search for information without any cap.
But maybe in the future, you will be lazy enough to find information and depend your knowledge to your friends. The implication is, your knowledge is as far as your friend’s knowledge.

Hard core settler and their status in the World

When we read something like this coming from a people who belong to so called free democracy country:

It rejects working with or acknowledging any legitimacy to Palestinians.
“The Arabs have to understand that they can’t stay here,” asserted Israel Danziger, who runs the hard-line organization and rejects the word “Palestinian.” “There is no in-between possible.”
Mr. Danziger spoke as a dozen men in their 20s were training with M-16 automatic rifles in the settlement of Yitzhar. Most had served in the army, all were religiously observant and all rejected any legitimacy to the idea of being moved to make room for a Palestinian state.
then we call them civilized people.
But when peoples who are oppressed and chased away from their own land by the settler, asked for a true justice, a civilized media call them as terrorist.
NYT is brave enough to put a report with words like Jewish terror is not new

According to WSJ.com’s article, in term of censorship Iran can do more by doing deep packet inspection compare to China.
But it is understandable as Iran’s Internet user is 23 million, compare to China’s 300 million strong. Because of China’s geography, China’s monitoring infrastructure is decentralized, compare to Iran’s centralized policy. Because of this policy, when Iran activated deep packet inspection to monitor traffics, users felt an access slow down especially after the June 2009 election.

Israel’s Moral Hazard

Charles Krauthammer & Benjamin Netanyahu should learn what is morality and fanatical ideology itself. Israel doesn’t have morality because it is:
- An entity with fanatical ideology who forced the occupants to flee 60 years ago (look at Irgun and injustice)
- An entity who teach their children to kill others because they are a better human than others (look at this report)
- An entity with its fanatical ideology who are racist (look at Israel Citizenship and Haaretz report)
- An entity who based on propaganda and lies
- An entity who blockade 1.5 million people and starved them (look at OCHA report on Gaza condition 2008/12/17, despite Israel FM Tzipi Livni said “There is no humanitarian crisis in the Strip, and therefore there is no need for a humanitarian truce“)
- An entity who have been doing war crime

Film Obsession distributed by McCain supporters

There are incidents in US related to presidential campaign especially tactics used in campaign. McCain supporters distributed an inflammatory hatred documentary film titled Obsession: Radical Islam’s War Against the West to scare US citizen and incite them to do some actions.
